Kreneng Night Market, Denpasar

A no-frills night market in Denpasar, well outside the tourist circuit and priced accordingly — this is where locals eat, not a market styled for visitors. Stalls set up after dark selling nasi jinggo (small banana-leaf rice parcels), satay, bubur (rice porridge) and fried snacks at prices well under what the same dishes cost in Seminyak or Canggu. Basic seating, functional lighting, and food that doesn't need either to be good.
