About

Also known as the Jardin de Montréal, this small park on the Fourvière hillside in Saint-Just was a gift from Lyon's sister city Montréal, opened to the public in 2001. Laid out in themed terraces — including a reddish platform echoing the colour of Lyon's rooftops — it sits at around 232 metres and looks out over Vieux Lyon and the Saône below, a quieter alternative to the crowded esplanade beside the basilica a short walk away.
